Our heart beats for what we do and with passion we manage to surpass ourselves day by day. This is how we push the boundaries of minimally invasive surgery with our products, enabling patients to have shorter procedures, less pain and therefore a faster recovery.
Our products are used in hospitals around the globe. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, we are deeply rooted in the Neckar-Alb region and consider it one of our tasks to support social, charitable, sporting or cultural initiatives here in our home region.
When a child is diagnosed with a heart defect, the world of the entire family is turned upside down. The Parents‘ lnitiative for Children with Heart Disease e.V. (ELHKE) is a regional support group for affected parents and supports families during this difficult time. This includes, for example, arranging contacts for the mutual exchange of experiences or very practical help such as organizing overnight accommodations for the parents near to the clinic. EPflex’s contribution primarily supports a social worker position in the pediatric cardiology department at the University Hospital of Tübingen. Here, parents can find qualified advice and support from the very beginning.
Health is a central focus of our daily work,
That’s why we want to draw attention to the topic of organ donation.
Together with the organ donation working group at Tübingen University Hospital
we are committed to the topic and want to support the decision for or against organ donation!
EPflex is aware of its social responsibility as an employer, also with regard to current political challenges. Without language skills there is no work and without work there is no integration of refugees into society. For this reason, EPflex has been offering free language courses for employees without German language skills since 2014. This was even worth a short report in the ZDF morning show.
